Kallol Bhattacharyya of “Ebong Amra” theatre group hardly had any notions of doing group theatre away from the city. It was his association with Probir Guha that convinced him and inspired him to do a proper rural theatre which would not only involve theatre workers from the locality, but will also address the local issues and concerns.
