Monojit Datta agrees to human errors, not @ cost of music

Posted by Kaahon Desk On August 21, 2015

Monojit Datta is a strict believer in sticking to the basics when it comes to music. He admits that certain slips and mistakes can often lead to interesting results and that human errors leave the room for an organic connection, but he has strong objections about such elements becoming the rule. He feels that it will ultimately destroy the foundations of music. And more than often lesser musicians can use them as an excuse to cover up their flaws and drawbacks. Of course, abstraction should be given its place, but only in the right measure; otherwise there will be a major imbalance and disturbance in harmony, per se.
