Talking about the advent of digital format, famous non-fiction filmmaker Supriyo Sen declares the priority always has been and still is the storytelling. The excitement lies in turning the limitations of the format into cinematic language. Then there are the obvious logistical advantages where just two people can carry the camera and come out with interesting images which are candid and intimate. Thus, one can work by intruding less and less into reality. The conversation leads on to the Indian scenario, where Sen feels that there is an overall technical/technological backlog.
