Sharing his experiences of the film industry, Pradipta Bhattacharyya, the director of national award winning film Bakita Byaktigato, admits that he was quite taken aback to find that the relatively low budget of his film became an issue in marketing and distribution. He found the reasons cited to be enigmatic, unclear and somewhat baseless. Pradipta speculates that the logic must be an economic one rather than creative or aesthetic.
