Hare Krishna Halder considers Shree Khol to be an instrument at the height of perfection in terms of the tonality of sound it produces. He speculates and discusses the various factors that might have triggered Shree Chaitanya to select this particular instrument for preaching his gospel. He displays his own collection of instruments and demonstrates the various possibilities of sound in terms of pitch and scale. Halder feels that it was largely owing to the unique combination of sound which is sharp and yet not loud but with adequate bass. He also demonstrates the positions and actions involved in playing Shree Khol.
